Six years after his divorce from his wife Sasirekha (Nayanthara), Shankar Varaprasad (Chiranjeevi), an NSG officer, joins a school as a Physical Education Teacher—the very place where his two children are studying. The story follows Prasad’s emotional journey as he attempts to reconnect with his estranged family. Adding a layer of chaos and comedy to this process is Venky Gouda (Venkatesh), whose involvement turns this heartfelt reunion into a fun-filled rollercoaster of misunderstandings, emotions, and laughter.

Mana Shankar Varaprasad Garu is a light-hearted family drama filled with laughter, action, and emotions. Chiranjeevi appears in a refreshing, lighter role after a series of action films, while Venkatesh plays a key role with more swag and comedy.
Performances:
Chiranjeevi delivers a strong performance after a long hiatus. He steals the show with his swag and charm. Whether in emotional or comedy scenes, he rocks with ease and grace. This is definitely a solid comeback for him in his second innings.
Venkatesh plays a crucial role that has the potential to turn the story around, and he does an absolutely fantastic job. His screen presence and comic timing are on point. His combination scenes with Chiranjeevi are major highlights of the film.

Fun sequences between Chiru and Venky, energetic dance numbers, and family emotions work well. The film finally ends with a massy action sequence.
Though predictable, Anil Ravipudi succeeds with his entertaining screenplay. Presenting Chiranjeevi in vintage form and balancing two star heroes while still pleasing the family audience is commendable. This turns out to be a satisfying Sankranti entertainer.
