Bhumi, who publicly runs an NGO, is secretly tasked by a corrupt politician to distribute a huge amount of ₹440 crores to voters. When the money is stolen by a masked gang, she seeks Velu’s help to retrieve it. However, Velu has a past connection with one of the robbers, which makes the situation even more complicated.

Mask is a heist crime comedy, blending dark humor, political corruption, and suspense with heist backdrop.
Kavin shines in a layered and morally complex role. Andrea is terrific as Bhumi — commanding the screen with bold and evil performance. Ruhani sharma shines did well in a limited role. The supporting cast adds depth and occasional humor.
On the technical side, G. V. Prakash Kumar’s background score is not very effective, while songs are mostly forgettable. Cinematography by R. D. Rajasekhar is stylish, adds greatly to the film's dark mood with lighting and frame composition. Editing by R. Ramar is could have been sharper, as pacing dips at several points.
Writer-director Vikarnan Ashok attempts a stylish heist thriller with grey characters and an engaging concept. The first half is slow due to character introductions and world-building. The narrative feels slightly flat while setting up the main conflict, and the screenplay is somewhat confused in parts. However, the pre-interval and interval sequences deliver a surprise twist. The second half starts strong, maintains intensity, and builds towards a powerful climax twist. For a debut film, Vikarnan Ashok mostly succeeds in delivering a gripping heist thriller.
