With his 100th film on hold due to lack of funds, he plans to sell his remaining property to raise ₹3 crores. But to his surprise, he finds the exact amount credited to his account — sent by Sagar, a die-hard fan. Curious and moved, Surya sets out to meet him, and on the way, begins to uncover Sagar’s extraordinary story.

Andhra King Taluka (2025) is a heartfelt drama, with mix of emotion, serious drama and strong cinema- based dropback.
Ram Pothineni delivers a grounded and sincere performance as Sagar. Upendra is impressive and brings dignity to his role as Surya. Bhagyashri Borse shines as Mahalakshmi, and her chemistry with Ram feels refreshing and natural. The supporting cast adds depth to the narrative.
On the technical side, Vivek–Mervin’s music is melodious and effective. Siddharth Nuni’s cinematography beautifully captures the rural setting, making the visuals rich and vibrant. The editing by A. Sreekar Prasad is decent in the second half, although the first half could have been trimmed as it feels a bit stretched.
Writer-director Mahesh Babu P presents a sensitive and heartwarming story. The first half moves slowly due to character and story establishment. However, the narrative picks up from the pre-interval point, and the second half takes the audience on an emotional ride. The hero-fan arc and love track work well, and the climax delivers a strong impact.
