Gangs Of Wasseypur: Part-1 review :

Gangs Of Wasseypur is a complex story as it has multiple layers and non-linear screenplay. The film has many characters but each character serves it's own purpose. It's raw and intense film with engaging story, powerful narration, and great music. The movie is filled with brutal action scenes, betrayal, and revenge but what makes it stands out is the realism and detailing in it. The soundtrack and score also replicate the films rawness. cinematography is gritty, so the editing too and most of the film is shot at real locations to bring the original flavor. Finally the film is not just about gang wars, it's about family, power and how violence passes from one generation to the next. Don't miss this one if you are a fan of gangster movies.

Black Friday review :

Black Friday is a hard-hitting, realistic film that takes you into the chaos of 1993 Bombay blasts. It shows how one day of terror affected countless lives, social and political impact afterwards. The performances are powerful and the storytelling is raw, leaving you with a lasting impression.

Conclusion:

Director Anurag Kashyap made many good films. If we look into his filmography, most of his films deal with dark, brutal and raw themes. Despite having a lot of criticism towards the violence and abusive content we can appreciate his genuin attempts to bring the reality we have in the society to screens.

These are out recommendations as of today's article. We will try to bring another article about few more gems of Kashyap.
