Plot : Anbuselvan(Suriya) an honest and fearless cop who works as an ACP in Crime branch in Chennai city. Anbu with his fellow IPS officers formed as a special unit to control crime in Chennai. The special unit shot many gangsters in less time and this leads to dismantle the special unit because of the Human Rights Authorities.
Anbu got into a relationship with middle-school teacher Maaya(Jyothika). Sethu(Yog) a renowned gangster starts kidnappings with the help of his brother Pandya(Jeevan), who returns from Maharasthra after 14 years. Then the special unit has reunited to eliminate Sethu and they did. Pandya, who escaped from the encounter takes the oath to avenge his brother's death. What happened next is the remaining story.
